The Minister of Electric Power, Imad Khamees, affirmed that the Ministry will focus on the extraordinary measures that are put to cope with the emergency circumstances that are facing the country. The Minister added that this was also in response to the attempts, that were being made by the conspirators, to destroy the electric power infrastructure, in addition to the fuel lines and power stations. The Minister also clarified that the sanctions imposed on the country could be dealt with, as Syria has many bodies to implement the projects, and that many friendly states are supplying the Ministry, with what is needed, to carry out these projects. On the other hand, the Ministry announced that the prices of electric power will not go up
