The Syrian Enterprise and Business Centre (SEBC) Supports the General Company for the port of Latakia 4/4/2012

Within the framework of the ongoing work of the institutional development and capacity building to support the institutions and business sectors, the Syrian Enterprise and Business Centre (SEBC) and the General Company for the port of Latakia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on March 20.

Under the deal, SEBC is adapted as an advisory body providing substantive and technical support for the company to develop its business.

The agreement aims to support the development of the Syrian economy through the development of the institutions and public sector companies by taking advantages of the strategic location of the port and the increasing in the volume of trade exchange between Syria and other countries.
SEBC will offer training and consulting services, in addition to drafts and proposals to simplify the procedures.

On April 4, SEBC has organized a workshop for the development team of the company about ways to simplify procedures and transactions for the port’s clients in order to provide high quality services as soon as possible.
