COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company is privately owned by Mr. Nizar and Bashar Al Hamli. It was established in 1989 and specialises in the manufacturing of women’s, children’s and men’s wear. The factory has recently been extended to 3,800 square metres. It has 300 employees producing 2,500 to 3,000 pieces per day and an annual turnover of US$ 3,000,000 .

Sales:

Bashar and Nizar Al Hamli company exports 100% of its production, which is manufactured on a CMT basis for European companies such as C&A, I.H.S. B.H.S in the UK. The company also manufactures on behalf of third parties, and its European customers are assisted by a company which has its head office in London.

Manufacturing facilities:

The factory is equipped with modern machinery and is always seeking to upate the machinery to cope with the increasing demand for its products.

Quality Control System:

The company has a quality control system that is derived from the internationally recognised TQM.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:

The company is aiming to expand its exports through:

• Manufacturing under licence or sub-contracted for European companies.
• Contact with European partners willing to act as distributors under the company brand name (B.N.H)
• Technical know-how transfer agreement.
