COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Raheb Co. is a private company owned by the Takieddine family and established in 1990. The factory, which occupies 4,300 square metres and employs 130 people, specialises in the production of cotton fabrics, T-shirts and underwear. It has an estimated daily capacity of 7,000 pcs, with an annual turnover of US$ 3,500,000.

PRODUCT:

Product range:

The company produces the following products:

1. Underwear for men, women and children under the brands:

   - REX: Medium level class

   - Fakr Al Sham: mass market

2. Cotton and blended fabrics
3. T-shirts, poloshirts, sweatshirts.

The company is planning to produce cotton products including (Pyjamas, track suits) in the near future.

Sales:

The company sells 50% of its production on the local market through retailers in Damascus and wholesalers in the Syrian core cities, and the remainder is exported to countries such as Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Germany.

Manufacturing facilities :

The company has one factory equipped with 8 circular knitting machines, rewinding machines (to clean the yarn), two stitching houses and sewing machines which are in good working condition.

Quality Control System:

The quality of the company’s products is very good for making up and finishing. The management operates a strict quality control system starting from the raw materials and dyed fabrics through to the ready-made products on 2 separate production lines. The company is also in the process of obtaining ISO 9000 certification.
