COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company is a public sector company and belongs to the General Company for Textile Industries established in 1976. This company is specialized in manufacturing raw cotton fabrics with a turnover of about USD 6.5 million. The company employs 1038 persons from which 20 engineers and 150 technicians. The machinery investment reached USD 4.0 million at the time of establishment.

PRODUCTS:

Raw materials: local cotton yarns.

Products range:

• Unprocessed cotton fabrics until 150 cm. width: about 8 million meters/year.
• Unprocessed cotton fabrics until 115 cm. width: about 9 million meters/year.
• Secondary products: about 150 tons/year of cotton waste.

Sales:

The company sells its products directly to public sector establishments and to private companies. The local market consumes 100% of its production.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has 4 warping machines and 3 sizing machines for production preparation. In the weaving halls there are 196 jet-weaving looms (narrow) and 196 jet weaving looms (wide) of Czech origin. Packaging is manual.

Quality control system:

The quality control department directs all quality control operations during and after manufacturing. Laboratory for classification of produced textiles secures the standard quality of products.
