COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Al Khadri company is a privately owned establishment. It commenced its operation in 1983 and currently has 27 employees. It specialises in manufacturing cotton wear, weaving and knitting, as well as, dying and finishing and services for all kinds of textiles. The annual turnover is US$ 1 Million.

Product services range:

The company has two lines of production. One is the production of fabrics from yarns, as well as, dying, finishing, packing, and packaging services. The other line is to provide certain services to the producers of fabrics e.g. dying and finishing.

Sales:

The owner manufactures under his own brand (Al Khadri) and sells all of his products to local market wholesalers and retailers.

Manufacturing facilities:

The factory is equipped with modern and updated machines made in Western Germany and the UK. The total capacity of the machinery is 2 tons for dying and finishing and 700 Kg for knitting per day.

Quality Control System:

The company has different levels of quality that satisfy all requirements depending on customers’ demand.

The company is aiming to expand its market share through:

• Joint venture with European companies with the purpose of establishing a partnership to manufacture a complete production line starting from the yarn ending with the finished product.
