COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company is of private ownership, established in 1969. The owner have long years of experience in the field of velvet and other textile manufacturing. The company employs 40 persons (including 1 highly capable engineer and a number of textile experts), with a turnover of USD 5.0 million. It has 4000 sqm. halls for production plus 2800 sqm. free area for future expansion

PRODUCTS:

The main raw materials for manufacturing are synthetic yarns. Additional components are different materials for preparation, fixing, and block out for textiles.

Products range

The main products are:

• Velvet (woolen or Acrylic) in different designs such as jacquard, printed, couffree, simple.
• Velvet for special purposes such as furniture, cars, curtains, etc.
• Anti-fire velvet for theater and movie halls and also for airplanes
• Silk carpets: jacquard for decoration and prayer mats

Production capacity

About 1500 meters per day

Sales:

The company is manufacturing velvets under license of BEYER AG. It sells its products in retail and wholesales through a wide spread distribution net and agencies. About 40% of products are destined for local market and the rest 60% for export to Lebanon, Jordan, U A E, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has a complete line beginning with warping machines, 8 looms, (2 jacquard) and machines for raising, brushing, shaving, polishing textiles.

As supplementary equipment, there is a dyeing line and a printing line as well.

Packaging is done manually.

Quality control system:

• Full automatic quality control is applied through all stages of manufacture.
• ISO 9000 is planned for the nearest future.
