COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company is privately owned as a joint venture between partners established in 1982. They have long years of experience in the production of textile fabrics for furniture and curtains. Exporting to Russia and the Golf states they achieved a turnover of USD 1.4 million. The company employs 30 people directly, and 10 people indirectly. It has 3000 sqm. of industrial buildings.

PRODUCTS:

Raw materials: local cotton yarns 25% and mixed yarns imported 75% (polyester / cotton, viscose)

Product range:

• Textiles (jacquard ) for curtains and furniture about 130000 m. per month
• Mixed fabrics about 60000 m. per month.

Sales:

The company is manufacturing in designs and colors according to demands of foreign clients. The company is selling in wholesale, 100%, for export to Saudi Arabia and other Golf Arab countries.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has its own patron design and other designs for clients upon request, using computer aid and jacquards techniques (disc jacquard).

1 warping machine and

20 weaving looms mostly Italian and French form the main textile production line.

There are also auxiliary machines in the production line.

Dyeing facilities and/or printing line are under study.

Quality control system:

The company applies a good internal quality control fulfilling the market request. ISO 9002 is not yet applicable.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:

The company is looking for:

• Establish a joint venture with a potential European partner.
• Enter EU markets for textile products.
• Participate with partners in completion projects (preparation, dyeing, and spinning)
• Manufacture under license.
