COMPANY OVERVIEW

The company is of private ownership, established in 1991. The owner has special experience in the field of wool garment manufacturing. The company employs 35 persons (including 4 technicians). It produces wool and mixed knitwear with a turnover of USD 330000. It has 600 sqm. plus stores and offices.

PRODUCTS:

The company produces knitwear for men, women, and children as well as tailored women's suits using Italian wool fabrics. The main row material used comprises of Italian wool yarns plus imported knitted wool fabrics. Average daily production rate is about 120 pcs/24 hrs.

Sales:

• The company is selling its products directly to consumers through a nice furnished shop and sales hall.
• Sales for export make about 15 % of production.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has a complete line beginning with fashion design, patron model making, computer aided setting up equipment. One cutting table and 17 sewing machines with other auxiliary machines (including ironing, packaging, etc) make the main production equipment. The company has in addition to that, a flat knitting line in gauges 7/10/12 with a washing machine, centrifuge dryer, steam pressure ironing etc.

Quality control system:

• Quality and formal inspection is done through all stages of production.
• ISO 9000 is planned for the near future.
