COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company belongs to the General Company for Textile Industries, a public sector enterprise. It was founded in 1978 after merging the two companies ZANOUBIA and SHAMRA. The company specializes in producing ready-to-wear garments of all kinds (men, women, children, and workers) with a turnover of USD 4.4 million. The company employs 756 persons (including 5 engineers and 32 qualified technicians). The company has a total built area of 11800 sqm.(production halls 2750 sqm., raw materials store 1500 sqm., garment store 1500 sqm., and offices 1120sqm. ).

PRODUCTS:

The raw materials consist of all kinds of woolen and mixed textiles from import sources and cotton fabrics from local market. The company imports a number of additional components for garment making such as: zips, buttons, laces and others.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has a complete line beginning with fashion design, patron model making, with facilities for preparing ornament pictures and embroidery. It has 6 tables for cutting, each is 40 meters long, and more than 1000 sewing machines with auxiliary equipment such as after-printing, ironing, packaging, and others.

Quality control system:

Quality inspection is done by a group of 12 high-qualified persons through every stage of manufacture.
