COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The company is of private ownership, established in 1978. The owners have 20 years experience in the field of garment manufacturing. It employs 140 persons, produces all cotton wear with a turn over of USD 2000000. It possesses 700 square meters factory plus 300 square meters stores for fabrics plus 300 square meters for garments, another 300 square meters serve as offices. Expansion is possible up to 8000 square meters. Production capacity ranges to 15000 pcs./ week.

Sales:

• The company is selling its products directly in whole sale.
• Sales for export make about 20 % of production.
• It has a network of retail outlets covering main Syrian cities.

Manufacturing facilities

The company has a complete line beginning with fashion design, patron model making, and computer-aided setting up equipment with facilities for preparing posters and embroidery. Three cutting machines and 80 sewing machines with other auxiliary 1-purpose machines are available for production.

Quality control system:

• Piece -for-piece inspection before sewing.
• Piece -for-piece inspection after finishing.
• ISO-9002 is foreseen.
