COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Jeans Club is a private company owned by Mr. Imad KASSAB and partners established in 1986. It has two factories, one in Homs, with 130 employees, that specialises in manufacturing of women’s, men’s and children’s total look. clothing. The other factory is used for manufacturing plush sweaters and T-Shirts. The company also sub-contracts a factory in Damascus to provide them with knitwear garments. The annual turnover is US$ 1,500,000.

Product range:

The factory produces the following products:

• Casual and Jeans wear for women, men and children.
• Cotton trousers, five pocket cotton trousers, denim (Jeans), printed, solid-colour and denim cotton shirts.
• Plush sweaters and knitwear.

Sales

The company has its own trademark “Jeans Club”, and also manufactures on behalf of third parties.

Jeans Club sells 70% of its production on the local market, where it franchises 70 shops with trade agreements. The remaining 30% of production is sold to the Gulf area countries as well as Cyprus.

Manufacturing facilities :

The factory has recently been extended to cope with the increased demand for the company’s products. It is equipped with modern, up-to-date machinery used in different stages of production.

Quality Control System:

The quality and overall image of the products are excellent.. The company is in the process of obtaining ISO 9000 Certification.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:

The company is aiming to expand its market share both locally and internationally, through:

• Agents or distributors of their products in the EU
• Co-operation with international companies in the form of sub-contracting or production under license.
• Technical know-how transfer agreements in order to assist the company in improving the production process.
