COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Nehlawi & Zarzour Co. is a privately owned company established in 1994 under investment law Nº. 10. The company, which employs 190 people, specialises in the production of Acrylic yarn in different colours and counts for different end user markets such as knitwear, fabrics and socks. It has an estimated annual capacity of 1200 tons and plans to expand to 2.600 tons by the end of 2001.

PRODUCT:

Product range:

The production process starts from Dyed tow, Stretch breaking, drawing, roving, spinning, twisting and finally relaxing to be used for:

• Knitwear
• Fabrics
• Socks

The company intends to introduce new products made of fancy yarn and wool-acrylic mix.

Sales:

The company sells 90% of its products to local wholesalers through their sales office in Damascus the remaining production is sold to international markets.

Manufacturing facilities :

The manufacturing facility consists of a 2.500 sq. m., fully air-conditioned building in addition there are 3.500 square metres of warehouses and workshops. It is equipped with up-to-date machinery used in most stages of the production process. The management policy is to improve quality and productivity through adding new technology.

The quality of the company products is of a high standard that meets international requirements in different counts and types of yarn.
