Golan Clothing is a private company established in 1992 under investment law Nº 10. It specialises in the manufacture and sale of denim (jeans) related products.

It is a medium sized company with 199 employees and an annual turnover of US$ 2,500,000.

The Golan Clothing company manufactures all kinds of denim clothing for men women, and children.

Golan trades on a CMT basis as well as on RMG basis

Sales:

The company produces under licence for Lord Jeans - Cyprus. It is sub-contracted by Rustle Jeans - UK, as well as other internationally recognised companies. The company also has its own local name brand, “Dangerous”.

Golan Clothing sells 70% of its overall production on the local market and 30% on the international market to countries such as the UK. The total turnover for the year of 1997 was US$ 1,890,000.

Manufacturing facilities:

Golan Clothing has a modern factory with up-to-date machines imported from countries such as Japan, Germany, Italy, and Finland.

Quality Control System:

Golan was the first garment manufacturing company in Syria to obtain the ISO 9002 Certificate and it always guarantees to maintain this quality standard.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:

The company seeks co-operation with European manufacturers or distributors to manufacture under licence or to be sub-contracted. It is also seeking a suitable partner who may enable them to organise production and penetrate new markets.
